Tap at Gettysburg brewpub (listed as KegNog Ale). Pours clear, bright amber with fizzy white head. Aroma is egg nog, nutmeg, bready malts, faint floral notes, and light vanilla. Flavor is light egg nog, bready malts, light hop bitterness, oats, and spices; creamy throughout and gradually dries out. Medium/full body and low carbonation. Has the nose of egg nog, but thankfully not the taste. The egg nog spices are in the flavor, but it’s still a beer at heart. Nice change of pace winter ale.
