a pretty amber color with a creamy tan head on the pour, and a hoppy aroma that was more or less on its own. the taste was similar, a ton of hops and not nearly enough malts and if there were any spices, i didnt taste them. a bitter and oily aftertaste ended what was nothing close to what i expect from an octoberfest lager. tsarman (794) - Northern, New Jersey, USA - NOV 5, 2007
Dark color for a oktoberfest. Brown with yellowish foam. Smoky flavor. Tasted some bitterness. Maybe its been a while, but this does not feel like an oktoberfest. A decent beer, but not really of the style I was expecting. More like a old fashioned ale. puggy211 (712) - cordova, Tennessee, USA - JAN 28, 2008

Dark reddish brown, fizzy head, no lacing. Sweet caramel, herbal, biscuity, nutmeg aroma. Mild taste, chewy malt dominant, very light citrus hop. Sour finish. Overall, pretty subtle and average. tbookman (618) - Ephrata, Pennsylvania, USA - AUG 13, 2001
Nice deep copper color - light aroma. Mild smooth malty flavor with little bitterness. Reminded me of Killians. Above average, but not great.

This beer has a dark color to it with head that is thick and has decent sized bubbles. There is a sweet smell of chocolate malt and mild hops. As you drink it you taste the chocolate and coffee with some intence hops. there is also a bitter taste that sticks around in your mouth for a while after you drink it. Aroma is slightly reminiscent of a Flemish sour ale, as is the taste. Deliciously even, moderately complex palate. Really a great beer overall. Cakes (460) - New Bloomfield, Pennsylvania, USA - AUG 9, 2011
6 oz sampler on tap at their Camp Hill brew pub.
Poured a hazy brown with a tan head that settles and left light lace. Aromas of honey, caramel and some fruits. The flavor had roasted malts, chocolate, honey and a hint of spice.
A regular "chicory explosion here!
Medium body and a roast malt aftertaste.
Rather smooth and light which belies it’s appearence. ScottyP (425) - Brentwood, Tennessee, USA - APR 21, 2009
Pours a hazy dark amber, almost tea like. Caramel malt aroma, some fruit notes. Roasted malt, caramel taste. No great finish to speak of, and kind of watery. Meh, okay lager f351c4v (411) - Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania, USA - AUG 2, 2008
Cask @ Camp Hill. Pours a clear orange-brown color with a nice tan head. Malty aroma, bready malt body. Average.
