Tricountybeer (167) - Dillsburg, Pennsylvania, USA - NOV 5, 2011
Poured a copper color with little off white head and no lacing Sweet caramel, herbal, light smoke, spicy, nutmeg aroma. , very light citrus hop. Taste was watery, and the flavor vanished paulmetzger (154) - Pocatello, Idaho, USA - SEP 30, 2006
Rich brown-amber with an overabundance of head. Malty aroma without much in the way of hops. Starts sweet and metalic, then adds a coffe like malt flavor at the end. pbjclimber (150) - Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, USA - OCT 20, 2006
Draft: Very dark for a marzen almost a pale mahogany color. Flavor is thin with a small amount of hops and a decent malt backround with caramel being present. A decent marzen but nothing special. Slovak34 (99) - Raleigh, North Carolina, USA - SEP 24, 2002
This is an average beer and has a nice finish. WhiteAlePower (92) - Long Island, New York, USA - APR 19, 2006
Nothing worse than a mediocre brew...unless it’s terrible. hah! Although atleast with a bad one you remember to stay away from it. Boring, but not bad. this head, thin colour and light flavour.

Has a darker pour close to a dark bronze. Had an aroma slightly of coffee and an almost smoky flavor to compliment the darker style of beer. Overall a great beer. brewpubexplorer (7) - - AUG 3, 2013 does not count
A very good oktoberfest beer. Not the best but very good. Probably my favorite abc beer.
