Poured a dark amber with little head, on draft at the brewery. Fairly malty beer with little hop presence, clean and pleasant malt character. Nice malty brew that is perfect for a fall day. Drake (14332) - Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA - OCT 17, 2012
12 ounce bottle from State Line. Pours a clear copper color with a thin frothy tan head. Decent head retention. Aroma of toasted caramel malts and very faint hops. The taste is toasted malts, earthy notes and a mild hoppy finish. Medium bodied. radio_nowhere (1474) - Maryland, USA - AUG 2, 2014
I know it’s far from fall but I couldn’t help grab this. Bomber into snifter glass, clear deep rusty-amber with light tan head. Aroma of toast, brown sugar and faint earthy hops. Taste adds roast malt sweetness, caramel, nuttiness, light cocoa and fruity hop bitterness. Light-medium body, low-moderate carbonation, soft with roasty sweet finish. Pretty straight forward marzen. pbjclimber (150) - Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, USA - OCT 20, 2006
Draft: Very dark for a marzen almost a pale mahogany color. Flavor is thin with a small amount of hops and a decent malt backround with caramel being present. A decent marzen but nothing special. andyhite (308) - Murfreesboro, Tennessee, USA - OCT 2, 2007
bottle. pours dark ruby blended with mahogany. there was a head; yet it receded to a thin layer, a film with a few bubbles sitting atop the Maerzen. aromas - faint caramel (malts), slight lively notes of orange slices and brown sugar. dark, roasted vanilla bean and coffee notes on the flavor. it’s mellow, slghtly dark, and very drinkable. solid lingering finish. i dig it. no lack of flavor, and not too shabby on the finish. it’s worth a 6 pack or 2. i recommend.

Cask @ Camp Hill. Pours a clear orange-brown color with a nice tan head. Malty aroma, bready malt body. Average. BiddleBrau (1238) - Fort Washington, Pennsylvania, USA - NOV 17, 2009
Red with thin white head. Stuffy nose prevents quality analysis of aroma. Caramel sweetness, decent hoppiness.
