I know it’s far from fall but I couldn’t help grab this. Bomber into snifter glass, clear deep rusty-amber with light tan head. Aroma of toast, brown sugar and faint earthy hops. Taste adds roast malt sweetness, caramel, nuttiness, light cocoa and fruity hop bitterness. Light-medium body, low-moderate carbonation, soft with roasty sweet finish. Pretty straight forward marzen. This is honestly my favorite Oktoberfest beer. I’m not a marzen fan, but this was is good. Great toasty malt feel on the tongue, with a satisfying finish. Tricountybeer (167) - Dillsburg, Pennsylvania, USA - NOV 5, 2011
