Poured a hazy brown with a tan head that settles and left light lace. Aromas of honey, caramel and some fruits. The flavor had roasted malts, chocolate, honey and a hint of spice.
A regular "chicory explosion here!
Medium body and a roast malt aftertaste.
Rather smooth and light which belies it’s appearence.
I know it’s far from fall but I couldn’t help grab this. Bomber into snifter glass, clear deep rusty-amber with light tan head. Aroma of toast, brown sugar and faint earthy hops. Taste adds roast malt sweetness, caramel, nuttiness, light cocoa and fruity hop bitterness. Light-medium body, low-moderate carbonation, soft with roasty sweet finish. Pretty straight forward marzen. Draft. Deep copper, thin head, malty backbone, medium carbonation. Nothing offensive, nut overall an avg marzen.

12 ounce bottle from State Line. Pours a clear copper color with a thin frothy tan head. Decent head retention. Aroma of toasted caramel malts and very faint hops. On tap at Appalachian. Pours a clear ruby brown with a thin to medium sized beiged tan head. Nutty and toast, big grainy toast on the nose. Soft coffee, chocolate, cocoa, toast and malt with a bit of caramel. Gentle bitterness, long toast, crisp grain and bitter toast. Smooth overall.
