Ommegang brewfest: This was better at the brewfest athn what I remember this to be last winter when I went to the brewery for a concert. Nice cloudy yellow body with a good lasting head. Good carbonation too. Flavor is malty and doughy with a good spicy yeastiness to it. Coriander, ornage peel and a slight bit of hops at the end. Nice easy drinking wit. Tap at Cooperstown. Cloudy yellow, white head. Hoppy yeasty citrus aroma. Light refreshing yeasty hoppy citrus flavor. Slight tang. freekyp (2235) - Thomasville, North Carolina, USA - OCT 18, 2003
Pale yellow with no head. Slight coriander in nose. Plain, watery and unexciting. No real wheat character. Holdwine (1231) - Beertimore, Maryland, USA - OCT 10, 2003
As average a wit as you'll ever find. Lacking the fruitiness it needs, this beer is drinkable, unless there is something else around.Too watery to warrant a higher rating. michael-pollack (4959) - King of Prussia, Pennsylvania, USA - AUG 9, 2003
Decent white beer. Nice dry finish. Like most here though, a bit watered down.

This beer is an average Belgian White. Appalachian makes better beers, though. turtlehead (111) - Nottingham, New Hampshire, USA - JUL 24, 2002
The somewhat watered down flavors left little to be desired. The yeast attenuation seemed off as this beer was not very cloudy. Malt and spice was sub-par. This beer is certainly lacking. tbookman (618) - Ephrata, Pennsylvania, USA - AUG 10, 2001
A decent wit alothough this isn’t my favorite style. Has a distinct Belgain flavor. Light & clear apperance, light bitterness, kind of a strong almost salty aftertaste.
