On tap at Gettysburg location, July 2006. Mid gold colour. Soft, grainy malt in the aroma and on the palate. Smooth, with just a touch of late hop. Rather too sweet for me and a bit too mellow.

Appearance: Pours a pale orange golden color.
Smell: Small aroma but it is pleasant. Sweet malt and grain grace the nose gently.
Taste: Sweet sugar and almost juicy maltyness are followed by a perfect balance of lightly grassy hops grains. The aftertaste lingers bitter for a bit and as it fades turns sweet. Nice.
Mouthfeel: Crisp and smooth slightly slick oily center give it a juicy attribute.
Drinkability: This is a drinking beer. Possibly a good transition beer. It is certainly sessionable and easy to put ’em down.
Hope this is helpful.

On tap at BP in Gettysburg. Pours with a clear light golden color with a paper thin head. No lacing noticed in the pint glass. Aroma was extremely grainy and sugary sweet with some fresh cut grass and hay overtones. Mouthfeel was a tad too slick and oily (undercarbonated?) for a lager. Not enough fizz here. Taste of slightly sour grain, light malts, fresh baked white bread, lemon and grass. Overall quite a sweet flavor profile. Finish is a bit tame and quick with a barely perceptible hop presence and a slight crispness. My brother-in-law was with us and he’s a committed Bud drinker and this is what he was ordering. There ya go! zug4abby (287) - San Diego, California, USA - JUN 14, 2006
bottle obtained in a trade with fyrecrakker05. Pours a light golden color with no real head and just a little bit of lacing. Aroma is light and slightly sweet and sticky. Flavor is sweet and light with slight wheat and fruit hints coming through. Very, very mild hop presence towards the end. A little sticky on the palate. I’m very neutral about this beer, just kind of ehh, but not in a bad way! jcwattsrugger (12420) - Florida and, New Jersey, USA - MAY 22, 2006

Pours with a golden body topped by a thin head with a good amount of lacing. It’s slightly sweet yet slightly bitter with a touch of sourness and a grassy hop note. Light bodied, crisp and smooth. kramer (6682) - Sunbury, Pennsylvania, USA - APR 4, 2006
12 oz bottle. Pours a slightly hazy gold with a very thin and quickly fading white head. Lightly malty aroma with a touch of DMS and a little bit of a vegetal aroma. Flavor is pretty thin with a very light crystal malt base and minimal to no hop presence. Mouthfeel is thin and light with moderate carbonation. Finish is not as crisp as I would like. I guess this is their answer to Yuengling Lager that they must do because of being in PA, but it doesn’t even measure up to that. Cletus (6355) - Connecticut, USA - MAR 9, 2006
Bottle courtesy of kramer17801. Pours gold with no head and very little carbonation. Smells sugary with some orange and grape elements poking through. Tastes a bit tarte and salty with some citrus and underlying sourness. Finishes light and peppery. IndianaRed (4609) - Boise, Idaho, USA - FEB 12, 2006
Bottle Pours a clear spakling pale orange. Slight wispy white ring of a head and traces of it’s best attempt at lacing. Light grain/ceral aroma. Some sweetness, like apricots or orages. Dry, bland and slightly sour flavors. Low hops and dry unfilted aftertaste.
Forgettable. When I look at this label all I can think of is the SNL skit. OldRaspy (292) - Virginia Beach, Virginia, USA - FEB 9, 2006
On tap at brewpub in gettysburg, had a clear light golden color. A good light lager that had a sweet yeasty finish.
