COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The Dortmunder-Export style of beer was developed in Westfalen, Germany, and is a classic light lager with great character. This style boasts a light golden blonde color and exhibits a moderate hop palate. The finish of our Mountain Lager is rich yet mellow.

Draft at the Gettysburg location, July 2006. A slightly hazy golden beer with a thin beige head. The aroma is sweet malty with light notes of spices - ginger is sticking out. The flavor is sweet - rather sweet - with notes of malt and fruit - especially peaches, as well as light notes of spices.

Light to medium-bodied. Drinkable but nothing more

Sampled at the NoVa Summer Beer Fest in Leesburg, VA on 6/25/11. Pours a clear golden color with a medium sized creamy head. Good head retention and lacing. Aroma of floral and grassy hops. The taste is grainy malts, grassy hops anda bit of corn. Medium bodied.

Sampled at 4th NoVA Summer Brewfest. Pours clear gold with a spare, fizzy white head, spare retention and lacing. Aroma is heavy malt (grain, straw, meal), spicy hops, and a clean lager character. Flavor is malt dominant, clean lager, and lightly fruity. Medium body, light warmth and carbonation with a sweet finish.

This beer is a clear gold color with a thin white head that dissipates quickly. Short strings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of doughy malt and fruit. Light body with flavors of sweet malt, fruit and grain. Slight vegetal quality at times. The finish is short and malty with a slight fruit aftertaste. Below average overall.
