This is a great lager. Sweet flavour without an aftertaste. What stands out with this one is that there is a definite lager flavour, unlike the "big three" This one is NOT watered down like the tradiditional lagers out there. This has more flavour than Yuengling (and I love Yuengling). ordybill (1731) - Douglasville, Georgia, USA - SEP 27, 2015
Poured from the tap into a pint glass at the brewery in Gettysburg, PA. This beer has a clear golden color with a small white head. the aroma is big on grass and malt with heavy carbonation. The flavor matches the aroma with grass, malt and some malt to finish the mix. Not a bad beer, good with quesadillas or nachos.

Poured light gold with nice white head. Has a bit of sweet grassy flavor. Quite tasty actually. I usually pick up a six pack of this every year. It is quite enjoyable. shrubber85 (11322) - Greenville, Indiana, USA - JAN 29, 2012
Bottle. Sour milk malt and hay aroma. Golden yellow color with moderate head and light effervescence. Slightly sweet creamy barley malt flavor with a lightly bitter hay hops finish. Nice body. Great beer. Duffbeer (192) - Pennsylvania, USA - SEP 25, 2002
A fine lager. Nice hop after taste.

UPDATED: JUN 29, 2007 12 oz bottle from variety pack. pours a golden amber just like a lager should. Not too bad. Sirmixsomewhat (266) - Paoli, Pennsylvania, USA - DEC 10, 2015
This is a good beer. Itís kind of sweet for a lager, but it doesnít insult you with its odd approach to a lager. Itís good! One thing I noticed is that it didnít keep particularly well, but I found that to be the case with the other beer I bought from ABC as well. It may be their packaging that doesnít last. 12oz bottle, solid lager here. Color is golden throughout, head is visable and forms a solid ring around the glass with an island hannging out in the middle. Taste is a bit hoppy, a bit pale, and a very easy. A gem for a moderate drinker. Easy on the pallate this brew can flow through mountains. I especially enjoyed the abundant golden color whihc prospered vivantally within the brew. Fresh and enjoyable, this is a beer for the minds. 12oz bottle. Bright golden color, white head that hangs on. Crisp and refreshing. Is it a Munich Helles, a Bohemian Lager or a Festbier? Doesnít matter - itís good. WISEGUY572 (1377) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 22, 2010
Draft at the brewery. Surprisingly good lager. Beautiful amber body, crystal clear, small white head, fantastic lacing. Surprisingly long finish, surprisingly long hoppy finish in particular, given the low (about 12) IBU.
