[On cask at brewpub] Stone fruit and pine sol aroma and flavour with assertive bitterness and smooth feel. Low carbonation (cask) and medium body. Pretty solid malty backbone, but the detergent pine sol flavour, together with the elevated strength, is slightly off-putting.

Bottle. Big bitter viscous brew from the start. The vegetable hops are so offensive. Way above a terrible IPA and its volatile too. What else can you ask for in a double IPA, terribly on style. WHEW! Way over the top. Thick mouthcoating drink that will ruin your palate for an hour. Nasty nellie rototiller. Getting dizzy near the finish, glad its over. Rude overall beer tasting experience.

Aroma is of hops. Taste is fairly bitter earthy hops. Overall pretty decent.

Draft at main brewpub. Pours golden with a white head. Leaves trace lacing in the glass. Lots of pine on the nose and tongue. Finished clean. Flavorful but kind of one note.

Voodoo (696) - Pennsylvania, USA - DEC 30, 2016
Pours a murky honey brown color with a slight white head which is gone quickly......aroma is heavy bread notes, slight sweetness......taste is quite light for a DIPA, almost tea like, slightly sweet, slight bittering, subtle cascade citrus, alcohol well hidden, quite enjoyable.

Braudog (6804) - Yorktown, Virginia, USA - DEC 22, 2016
Bottle. Rusty-looking pour, frothy head that succumbs pretty quickly. The aroma is vaguely "mushy," hinting at a wet hop character. That delivers, like sucky the fluid out of a wet, clean cloth, this is heavy-bodied, and meaty both in hops and malt. (#6470, 12/22/2016)

BuckeyeBoy (8293) - Boise, Idaho, USA - NOV 23, 2016
On tap at Appalachian Brewing. Pours out a golden copper color topped with a sand head. Nose is citrus hop caramel malt some orange. Taste is more of the citrus orange hops sweet caramel malt and some grapefruit pithy bitterness on the end.

Amber colored with a thin white head. High in hop bitterness, but not a lot of hop aroma or flavor. Still a good double IPA.

On tap. Pours clear dark gold. Light white head. First smell, yup, that’s a double ipa. Strong hoppy flavor. Admittedly ipa is not my drink. A light bitter finish after a woody hop ride

blankboy (7788) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - JUN 27, 2016
[Bottle (12oz)] Pours a hazy copper-gold with an average size lasting frothy white head. Some lacing. Aroma is grainy, bready, fruity and hoppy along with some vegetal notes, light sugary sweetness and a bit of alcohol. Flavour’s fruity and hoppy but also bready. Alcohol is fairly well hidden. Average to medium bodied. It’s good, not great, just good.
