This is a damn fantastic IIPA!! I am very impressed with this; absolutely awesome!! The beer pours a clear and brilliant dark golden color with a substantial tan head. The head leaves some nice sticky and cascading lace around the glass. The nose is well-balanced with a ton of spicy and citrusy hops. I also got a little earth and fresh-baked bread in the aroma. The body is incredibly smooth and drinkable. The flavors are also extremely well-balanced, with a ton of spicy and dry hop flavor. I got some notes of grapefruit, orange peel, coriander, lemon, lime, earth, light rye bread and a hint of alcohol. The finish is semi-dry with more dry and spicy hop flavor. This is a really incredible IIPA! I’ll be hitting up either the restaurant in Collegeville or the Wegmans bottle shop for more!

Deep chestnut color with an off-white head, seems off for style, but it’s nice looking. Hop aroma is minimal, and it’s rather malty. Tastes like a defanged DFH 90Min. $15 pitcher

22 oz bomber from Blue Dog Pub in Lansdale. Poured a great lloking rust colored amber body with a large full frothy off white head. Aroma was nice that has a lovely hop syrup sweetness, flowers, honey topped bread, citrus and candy. Full chewy body with soft carbonation and not much of an aftertaste or finishing bite, no trace of ABV on this one. Flavor unfortunately doesnt have the sweetness but more of a vegetable touch. Notes of dry grainy toast, green veggies, dry hops. Although the flavor drops off this is still a solid beer.

22oz. Bottle: Aroma of malt, caramel, and slight hops. Poured amber in color with a small, rocky, creamy, off-white/tan head that diminished but lasted throughout. Hazy. Very sparkling. Excellent lacing. Flavor is medium sweet and slightly bitter. Tastes of malt, caramel, and slight hops. Medium body. Lightly dry texture. Average carbonation. Malt, caramel, and hint of hop finish. Where are all of the hops???

Tap, Hbg location. Pours a hazy copper body with a small tight bubbled off-white head. Nice citrusy hoppy nose with fairly restrained maltiness, letting the hops shine bright. The flavor shows an aggressive bitterness, citrusy with lots of grapefruit. Moderate lingering bitterness. Medium bodied with a little resiny stickiness and moderate fizzy carbonation. Pretty nice beer, especially for ABC.

22-oz. bottle. Pours lightly hazy rich copper with a huge, frothy and sticky off-white to light gold head, long retention (still over an inch after 5 minutes), and excellent lacing. The bubbles are tiny and slow-to-rise. Aroma is immediate fresh, fragrant fruity and floral hops, light notes of peppery alcohol, subdued caramel and honey malts, and an apricot essence near the end. The flavor starts out too heavy and hot on the alcohol, which is surprising for an 8% ABV beer. Heavy hop flavors of grass and flowers peek through the alcohol and there is a hint of sweet malt under it all. The alcohol really dries out the finish and leaves some hop bitterness behind. Medium body though the alcohol makes it seem thinner, heavy warmth, and medium carbonation. I had high hopes for this beer based on its appearance and aroma, but it really falls apart after that.
