On tap at ABC in Harrisburg. The aroma of coffee is delicious over the roasty malts. The appearance is dark, thick and opaque like oil, with a nice creamy head. The flavor from the espresso is strong, but not overpowering. They blended in just the right amount. I know coffee is very cliche in stouts, but they still seem to be delicious every time I try a new one. This one was worth bring a growler of home. egajdzis (6499) - Pennsburg, Pennsylvania, USA - MAY 2, 2010
Opaque black color with a medium sized, tan head that left nice lacing on the glass. Aroma of espresso, roasted malts, some dark fruits, and dark chocolate. Taste of much of the same, with some tobacco leaf, and a bit of alcohol as well. DiarmaidBHK (4777) - Lewisburg, Pennsylvania, USA - MAR 12, 2011
Pours black with a thin brown head. I let it sit for an hour so the flavors just pop out. Coffee dominates on the palate and thickens it as well. This beer you could almost eat. And at less than 5% alcohol you could session with it. Nejhleader (1548) - Lemoyne, Pennsylvania, USA - MAY 13, 2010
ABC really improved this brew by adding espresso to it. Aroma is slightly roasted malts. Good body, Has a nice espresso kick to it, to add to the sweet and caramel taste. gizmo_ber (190) - Steinwenden, GERMANY - AUG 17, 2012
Strong espresso aroma, tan head gave away to small ring that held. Flavor is coffee heavy, stout follows. A good desert beer for coffee drinkers. Had better espresso stouts, but this isn’t bad.

Pretty good! Locally made on tap at Collegeville location. Lighter than many on the mouth feeling but has a good coffee taste without the sweet or bitter. kramer (6682) - Sunbury, Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 18, 2010
On tap, at brewery. Pitch black pour with a small wispy covering of brown head. The nose is more coffee than beer with lots of roastiness. Very thick and rich aroma. Nice citrusy espresso coffee flavor dominates the beer up front, fading to a moderately bitter finish. Nice clingy coffee finish with moderate fizzy carbonation. A little thin, but the coffee compensates. Pretty good as a coffee vehicle, but not the best beer. j12601 (10868) - Poughkeepsie, New York, USA - AUG 28, 2010
On tap at the brewpub. Pours a deep black with a medium sized beige head. Lovely coffee aromas. Smells like an iced coffee. Roast and malt, lightly sweet, oatmeal. Smooth and gentle roast coffee, long and smooth bitterness. Lovely lingering coffee flavors on the finish. hellbilly (3249) - scottsdale über alles, Arizona, USA - OCT 4, 2011
