Love that it is organic, like that there are some hoppy notes (not usually present in a standard brown ale) and appreciate that it is very drinkable. I’d order this again.

Wife ordered this draft at Gettysburg brewpub, I grabbed a few sips. Served in a pint glass, reddish-brown color with off-white head. Aroma of caramel malt; hints of nuttiness, chocolate and earthy/peppery hops. Taste brings out some more nuttiness and roastiness. Light body, medium carbonation, dry, clean finish. An alright brown ale, straight forward and not much to it.

Draft at gettysburg location. Reddish brown pour, with an off white head. Caramel, roasted malt, toast, and a hint of nuts. Ok brown ale, on the roasty side.

Reddish brown with a nutty malty nose. Dry, palate with a hint of cocoa and more nuts. Decent but forgettable.

On tap at the brewpub. Deep brown pour, slightly hazy. Aroma is really roasty, tons of nuts, caramel, hint of clove. Taste is equally nutty, nice bitter roast finish. Palate is light-med bodied with medium carbonation. Best beer I’ve had of theirs.

On tap at brewpub. Pours a medium brown color with a small white head. A light aroma is caramel malts, toasted notes and some mildly biytter hops. A nutty toasted flavor; light hops in the finish and lots of toasted malts. Slick and watery mouthfeel. Love that organic thing! Do more of it folks.

Pours a deep redfish brown with an ample tan head. Malt forward with a bit of hop bite. Smokiness makes this interesting.
