Sweet corn and grain nose, with lightly notes of wheat and unnamed adjuncts. Tinny and sour flavor, with some fresh but mild corn and pils malt, far too sweet, but at least it has some decent fruity citrus hops that smell and taste decent enough. FROTHINGSLOSH (8139) - GREENSBURG, Pennsylvania, USA - MAY 11, 2014
Sampled on draft this beer poured a hazy dark golden amber color with a medium sized foamy white head that faded and left decent lacing. The aroma was sweetish bread crust and honey. The flavor was tangy and sweet with notes of orange, tropical fruits, honey and bread. Medium length tangy and sweet orange, tropical fruit and honey finish. Medium body. On tap, Harrisburg location. Pours a hazy orangish yellow body with a small film of white head. The nose is slightly bready pale malt with a slight yeastiness and just a little grassy hops. Very nice doughy and bready maltiness, very soft and well rounded flavor. Light to moderate bitterness with a bit of fluffy yeast on the finish. Mouthfeel is very soft and smooth with moderate carbonation. Very nice, one of my favorites from ABC. egajdzis (6730) - Pennsburg, Pennsylvania, USA - APR 17, 2010
Lightly hazy amber color with a small, off white head that left nice lacing on the glass. Aroma of caramel malts, nuts, toasted dough, and light citrus. Taste of nuts, toffee, some caramel malts, bread, and a semi-sweet finish.
