multiple samples at Grand River Brewing’s 4 th Anniversary party. clear deep yellow, sexy legs. huge apricot and peach aroma. very well integrated acidity helps this from being cloying. amazing ice cider, i can see why it won canadian ice cider of the year in 2010.joekinty (263) - rockledge, Florida, USA - SEP 4, 2008

Sample shared. Reddish copper pour, quite clear, pretty pour. Aroma is intensely fruity, tons of strawberry, lots and lots of berries, light spicy apple pie, cinnamon like aroma. Taste is fruity, nice strawberry flavor, very sweet, rich and desserty, apple pie. Palate is full bodied, mouth coating. Very very nice. fiulijn (20516) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - JUN 28, 2015
Tasting at Matt’s, vintage 2010, 5 years oldmathieuc (3995) - Québec, Quebec, CANADA - JUN 30, 2015
Dark amber color, bright, thick. Strong nose of caramelized pineapple. Thick mouthfeel, a bit too syrupy; the flavor brings a lot of stewed apples, prunes, raisins, concentrated pineapple; correct acidity, but less than other Ice Ciders from Quebec. The alcohol is well hidden.
2010 vintage. Pours a clear copper with nice legs. Nose is of apples, cloves, pears, brown sugar and some alcohol. More complexity than your average ice cider. Taste is sweet with lots of caramel and brown sugar with some brown apples flavors. Body is full and mouthfeel syrupy, like some apple drizzle really. Just a touch hot. Overall a really nice dessert, different!

Pours light brown with no head. No serious legs. Aroma is of apples, alcohol, pears. Taste is of apples, pears, sugar, alcohol, some acidity. Palate: Full bodied. Sticky. No carbonation. Some warming alcohol. Overall: Very good. Deep and complex. Sweet apples. JoeMcPhee (9427) - Toronto, ON, Ontario, CANADA - MAR 19, 2016
Deep amber-gold pour. The nose is laden with honey-glazed fruit, soft
spice and a bit of acidity. Some light tartness and a bit of cooked
fruit character. There’s a little bit of light fruit and some apricot
notes as well. Chewy, sweet yet well balanced by tartness. Lovely. mcbackus (758) - Merritt Island, Florida, USA - AUG 27, 2008
bottle from matt7125: pours a nice honey colour with no head and some oily legs onthe glass. aroma is a great sweet honey mixed with fresh apple juice, slight apple peel aroma mixed with some flowers. very nice. flavour is a very sweet apple juice with a big sticky mouth feel that is very welcomed. a touch of floralness flows in then a great honey profile. this is very good not just apple is in this but a great array of flavour and aromas. great honeynees JB84 (649) - Kitchener, Ontario, CANADA - JUN 24, 2011
GRB 4th anniversary tasting. Pour golden yellow. Aroma stone fruits, apples, spice, hint of sweetness. Taste terrific balance of mild spice, apples, sweetness, and acidity. MF thick and coating. Wow what a terrific cider very well done and best ice cider I’ve had to date cheers!! mcberko (17847) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - JUN 12, 2015
2010 vintage. 375mL bottle, pours a pretty clear brandy-like caramel colour. Nose is luxurious, with loads of caramel apple sweetness, pineapple and a subtle tartness underneath. Flavour is similar, with caramelized apple and pineapple sweetness (unusual that this is so pineapple-y), with medium-high sweetness for an ice cider, and absolutely no tartness. Really viscous palate, with a lovely mix of fruits that is unusual for an ice cider. Very decadent stuff. Fantastic, unique one.
