Sample, thanks to SlovakSniper! Clear bright golden leaving little les on the glass. Aroma is pretty much a standard cryoconcentrated ice cider (bright apples, tropical notes, fresh) but the addition of hints of peppers. Taste is something else though. It starts like an usual ice cider with mouth coating sweetness following by bright apples acidity but quickly the chilies and pepper corns takes all the place. Medium body. Still. A bit oily mouthfeel. Warming/burning chilies finish. It’s unique and it’s fun but I wouldn’t say it’s enjoyable. Balanced is thrown away when chilies kicks in. czar (9338) - Québec, Quebec, CANADA - DEC 27, 2016
sample from slovaksniper, thanks patou! as "smoking apple", 2013 vintage. pours very bright gold, red tint, with sticky legs. chewy golden apple sauce; clove, pepper and peppercorn embossed frozen apple, wood, peppery honey, pickled ginger, minerals. flat carbonation, medium body - very oily and thick; sweet and spicy-tingling finish. tingling spiciness is intriguing - quite fun although a bit overdone yet never vegetal - there’s also a lack of balance in this particularly sweet and spicy concoction. (Sous le nom de «Smokin Apple». Vintage 2013) Un liquide couleur or quoique légèrement foncé. Lubiere (14133) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - OCT 14, 2016
2013 vintage. A golden ice cider with aroma of sweet apple jam, light acidity, light chili, interesting. In mouth, a nice sweet apple jam beginning with alcohol warmth, then followed by chili, celery salts, sweetness keeps it interesting. Bottle at Big Matt’s Eclipse tasting.

Bottle from the farm. This is an interesting one for sure. Clear golden pour with nice legs again. Fairly sweet with a nice tang, lots of apple, fair amount of heat that comes on later with some smoke, the finish is more heat then cider, curious to see if the heat mellows at all, but not sure I like it or not it. robinvboyer (4741) - Sturgeon Falls, Ontario, CANADA - JUL 1, 2015
2008 vintage, bottle from the winery. Dark copper pour, lots of legs on the glass. Aroma is alot of chipotle, light smoke, and some spice with the apples emparting some sweetness, and a big black pepper aroma rounding it out. Body is thick and luscious, and a tad oily. The finish is very warm, bordering on hot. Finish is quite sweet, with alot of heat and carmelized apples rounding it out. Very, very interesting. fiulijn (21022) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - APR 19, 2015

Dark amber color, hazy. A very interesting product, mixing real Ice Cider with mild spices and hot chili peppers, and moderate hotness in the final. Sweet. Unique, original, very good.
2008 Vintage. 375mL bottle, pours a clear butterscotch orange with no head. Nose brings out notes of butterscotch, some liqueur, bananas, herbal notes and apples. Flavour is complex, with notes of tobacco, herbal apples notes, light smoke, stone fruits, and spices. Dominated by the tobacco notes, but also complemented by the spiciness and herbal spiciness. Certainly a unique ice wine. Ferris (16302) - Burnaby, British Columbia, CANADA - JAN 15, 2015
