Bottled. An amber beer with a bit of sediment floating around under a tan head. The aroma has notes of malt and hops as well as lighter notes of fruit. Clear dark copper color, tan head. Sweet malty scent. Spicy malty taste. Medium mouthfeel, medium bitterness.
2009-05-23. Hazy dark amber body, good sized billowy off-white head and lace. Flavour is pleasantly bitter, mild but supportive malt, dry caramel notes. Very light mineral note in the finish, grows as it warms. (6+) Aroma is muted, both because its mild and the cold temperature. Mild malts, just a touch of hops light grassy touches. Fresh and fruity, well balanced. A little vinous, and edge of sourness that balances the sweet fruit. Nice stuff.
