I had the opportunity to taste this beer because I bought it from a regional shop in San Telmo neighboorhoud, Buenos Aires city. This beer comes from Bariloche and it’s hard to find in Buenos Aires city. I was very lucky to taste it because it is delicious, and the regional shop does not sell it anymore. ante (3373) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - JAN 24, 2008

UPDATED: JAN 29, 2007 Bottled, thanks Fukito! Clear mahogany, rich firm head. Aroma of toffee and coffee. Sweet and near full bodied with rounded rather soft mouthfeel. Plenty of butterscotch. Cottony, warming and thoroughly pleasant, but not very complex. jbrus (4988) - Delft, NETHERLANDS - JUN 17, 2007

(Bottle, Monk’s Café, Stockholm, 6 Feb 2008) Dark brown colour with ruby hints, huge pale brown head. Malty, roasted nose with notes of chocolate and dark berries. Malty, roasted taste with chocolate, coffee, dark berries, more chocolate and a sweetish finish with a delicate cocoa bitterness. Medium body with smooth mouthfeel. Yummy! Nice, chewy and chocolatey brew. sayravai (4711) - Helsinki, FINLAND - JUL 12, 2008
(Bottled) Dark brown with a small head. Slightly sour, very malty aroma with licorice. Sourish-salty, roasted-malty flavor with medium bitterness. Medium-bodied, low-carbonated palate. Slightly thinner than a doppelbock, but that was to be expected. Quite nice. oh6gdx (26485) - Vasa, FINLAND - JUL 14, 2008
Bottled. Amber colour, small off-white head. Aroma is malts, some wood and fruits along with some semi-roasted notes. Flavour is wood, grass, mild licorice, big time roasted malts with some sour notes. A rather different kind of bock, but still nice. Panzerfaust (877) - Hanga Roa, Easter Island, CHILE - OCT 22, 2007
Pours a very dark reddish brown color. Head is small, beige and mostly diminishing. It leaves a small lacing.
Aroma is malty with notes of toasted bread, caramel, molasses, tobbacco and butterscotch. I like the smokey hints.
Flavor is intense, sweet with notes of caramel, molasses, brown sugar and toasted traces diminished by a big alcoholic presence.
Big body, light carbonation. Ending is sticky and leaves a sweet aftertaste. Lots of alcohol. This would be better if toned down a little.Lilith (242) - Santiago, CHILE - JAN 14, 2008
