courtesy of Per Samuelsson - pours a very dark ruby-brown colour with almost no foam; strong aroma of toffee with a light citrusy touch; sweet and quite full-bodied; regular palate; bitter and moderately dry; long chocolaty, caramelish aftertaste - pleasant but lacking a bit of character Fukito (1059) - Santiago, CHILE - APR 9, 2006
UPDATED: DEC 27, 2006 Bottle - April 2006:
Pours a deep black with a white head. Aroma is chocolaty. Taste is caramel and chocolate, at some moments it tends to lose the edge towards the sweet side, losing some balance. Mouthfeel is rather dense, this brew has a great body. Aftertaste is short. This could´ve been much more interesting, but after a couple of sips it becomes almost too unidemnsional and boring, KimJohansen (10511) - Frederiksberg C, DENMARK - SEP 20, 2008

(Bottle 50 cl) Slightly hazy amber golden with an off-white head. Lightly sweet aroma of roasted malt. Medium body with sweetish roasted malt and a little burned caramel. Rather vague tartness and a very subdued bitterness. 200908 Miksu (5053) - Jyväskylä, FINLAND - JAN 7, 2009

Quite sour, with a sour fruit taste kind of like sour plum though not necessarily pleasant. Hoped for more from this brand - overrated in Argentina. Poured a soapy foam like head that all but disappeared immediately. Ungstrup (38215) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - SEP 28, 2008
Bottled at Stockholm Beer Festival 2008. A murky brown beer with a tan head. The aroma has notes of oxidation, malt, and caramel. The flavor is a combination sweetness and acidity with notes of caramel, leading to a dry bitter and bready finish. Get rid of the acidity, then it will work.
