A New World Tripel collaboration between Bristol Beer Factory, Arbor and Harbour breweries.
A marriage of American and Belgian brewing techniques, using a special strain of Belgian yeast and brewed using traditional open-top fermenters, this beer has a distinct dryness with a peppery, spicy finish and a big hoppy twist. An Imperial IPA malt bill, powerfully hopped and conditioned with Nugget, Summit and Amarillo.

Bottle. Orange with a small head. Medium body with a very pleasant fruitiness with hops in the background. Well brewed, well bottled and rather excellent.

Bottle from Kris Wines. Poured a bright light golden colour with a very long lasting white head. Solid malty background. Lovely yeasty spice. Hops really punchy, bitter, fruity, citrus and floral, long finish. Blend of Belgian and IPA hop styles really works here, I enjoyed every sip.

Pours a hazy orange colour. Loads of summer fruits, orange, grapes, wonderful dry hoppy-ness at the finish which lasts a long time. A wonderful beer, i went back again and again

Had this at home Wednesday 4th December 2013 purchased from ’Jacks’ Westholme Stores, Goring-on-Thames, Oxon recently Crikey Bristol Beer Factory are on a roll at the moment this is another splendiferous beer, bloody marvellous. Warm gold with a little chill haze, white sticky, foamy head atop. Nice aroma, again the yeast is very quite prominent but there is a nice spiciness. It maybe 8.5% but it drinks much, much easier. Soft in mouth, spicy, fruity with a very long and dry finish, wonderful bittersweet balance, some cooked sweetened lemon. Great beer. A8 A4 T9 P4 Ov17 4.2

UPDATED: MAR 27, 2014 500ml bottle. Pours hazy dark amber with small head. Aroma is a minefield of scents. Belgian yeast stands stoutly in front of some citrus, pine and grassy notes. Taste is incredibly complex. Again up front is the soft creamy belgian yeast then some subtle fruit before rising hops. A little nutty and piney on the back-end and bitterness builds long after tugging it down. This to me is another beer indicative of the craft-beer sector’s push for ingenuity and originality. Great beer.

Keg at Hanging Bat. Pours hazy yellow with almost no head. Candied sugar, oranges and yeastiness. Something flowery. On the taste, a bit of higher-alcohols reminiscent of nail varnish remover, but in a good way. Oily texture, full bodied. Very nice.
