This traditional Hefeweizen is light bodied, gold and cloudy in appearance, with banana and clove in the nose. A clean citrus finish makes this the perfect spring/summer time beer.

Bottle in Detroit. Cloudy, yellow-orange appearance with a small white head. Orange citrusy, moderate banana and clove, somewhat spicy, wheat malty aroma. Tangy, slightly citrusy tart, mildly spicy, light to moderate banana and clove flavor. Not a fan of the tangy quality.

Bottle. Banana, citrus, bread aroma. Hazy golden with a small white head. Lemon, spice, and a slightly funky wheat malt flavor. Light carbonated body

Solid hefeweizen. Nice banana from the yeast. A little sweeter than I like in the style though.

12 oz bottle that pours like a classic hefeweizen with a little settlement in the bottle. Pours a nice orang color with a small hint of banana aroma. A decent summer hefe.

I had this at the brew pub as part of a sampler. A definite middle of the road beer for them, below average craft beer...nice look to this beer, very cloudy neonish color yellow. The aroma is a little too clovey and is the downfall of this beer. The taste balances things out with a little sourness that is unexpected. Bring down the clove and I’d give it another shot.

Sampled at Brewster’s in Kalamazoo, Mich. Crisp taste with notes of banana. Definitely a light bodied beer that would be better received in july. Not too bad.

12 oz. bottle from Siciliano’s in Grand Rapids, MI. Hazy, yellowish-orange pour with a foamy white head. Aroma of faint banana with a more distinct citrus and just a hint of clove. Flavor is good but features a bit too much orange/lemon for my taste. Light and refreshing. Good overall.

Yellow with fizzy white head. Light bready and fruity aroma and taste with some banana notes.

Cloudy straw color with much less carbonation than previous Arbor brews that I have tried. Bland aroma and taste except for some sour notes that I enjoyed.
