Bottle. One of only 210 bottled. Dark brown with a sherry like flavour and some maltiness. Small head and so easy to drink considering its strength. Another excellent beer from this brewery.

Clear medium to dark red brown colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, caramel, light chocolate, light alcohol, light sweet alcohol. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and light to moderate bitter with a long duration, alcohol sweey, candy sweet, dark malt, roasted. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat, finish feel is light alcoholic.
Cask-conditioned at the Three Tuns, Bristol 28/01/2012. This began life in a homebrewing competition and congratulations to Roger Parry who came up with the winner. dark brown with reddish undetones and a decent, off-white head that left plenty of lace down the glass. Berry fruit and grassy hop aroma with some roastiness in the background. Very easy drinking for the ABV, with a lot more fruit, solid malts and a lingering, bitter finish. Great stuff.
