CP&K. Clear dark red - brown beer, small off white head. Palate is fresh but dry. Rich coffee, fairly bitter. Minerals. Pretty dry finish with hop bitterness adding to the coffee bitterness. Pretty full on for 3.6%
Cask-conditioned at the Three Tuns, Bristol 19/05/2012. Per the pump clip, this is a coffee infused mild, which might be a contradiction. Deep, reddish brown with a slight, off-white head. An aroma of camp coffee, berry fruits and a touch of caramel. The flavour was similar, with plenty more fruit, before some roasted coffee beans and a gently bitter finish. A great low ABV beer. Cask in Euston Tap. Clear brown bitter coloured ale, foamy white head. Nose is fresh roasted coffee beans, fruity ale, red fruit, cranberries or raspberries. Taste is fresh black coffee, caramel malt, English hop bitter. Great combo of English bitter with roasted malt, coffee flavour.
