Hazy dark brown with a small head, in the nose plenty of caramel malts, brown sugar, a bit of orange, hints of coca cola. Some raisins and alcohol. Almost overwhelmingly sweet, but a mild bitterness overrides the sweetness at the end. Enjoyed it more as it went down. tommann (3713) - Dudley, West Midlands, ENGLAND - FEB 11, 2013

Gentle nose with notes of chocolate and some vineous raisin qualities. Pours a muddy medium brown with some spotting in the head from the sediment. The flavour is rich and pleasantly syrupy with some fig, some treacle and some muscovado sugar. A little bitterness remains to cut through the treacley goodness and the end result is balanced albeit a dessert rather than a session beer. Lovely. rlgk (18847) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - DEC 28, 2012
