Cask @ Jolly Butchers 2013/6/25 Oh yeah that’s how you do it. That’s how you brew a cask conditioned cloudy Belgian smoked pale ale. tommann (3943) - Dudley, West Midlands, ENGLAND - JUL 2, 2013
500ml bottle at 5.2%. Pours a very lively dark brown with a large head. Aroma is a mix, smoked ham, Belgian yeast and mango hops. Taste has sweet ham to start and a yeast smoked ham finish. zacgillbanks (5506) - Tyne & Wear, ENGLAND - JUL 5, 2013

Bottle. Deep hazy amber in colour with a fluffy white head. Aroma: grapefruit, mango, Belgian yeast, caramel, touch of smoked meat. Taste: zingy citric hops, smoky caramel malt and candied/spicy notes from the Belgian yeast. Finishes dry and bitter, with a lingering roasted malt/smoke presence. Lively (maybe to lively) carbonation. Interesting!

Almost clear amber beer with a big pale cream coloured head. Palate is minerally crisp. Good orange and tangerine citric hops. Goes well with the lightly smoky malt. Finishes with thin creamy malt and minerals. Decent.
50 cl bottle. BBE 31.03.2014.Quack-Duck (9533) - Down South, GERMANY - DEC 28, 2013
Pours amber color with a huge frothy head. Aroma is surprisingly strong with smoke, some grass, yeast notes and hops also. Flavor of smoky malts, caramel, mild wet hay, hops and faint goose berries at the end, distant yeast also. Medium carbonation, light-bodied, mildly bitter. I didn’t actually have that high hopes for this one but it managed to surprise me. The smokiness works very well considering the light body. Nice.
bottle from Tuckers Maltings. Hazy amber colour, mid-sized off-white head. Shy smoky nose. Medium-bodied, malty with a shy touch of fruit, some faint smoky flavours in the far background. Expected it to be more smoky, nevertheless this is very, very tasty! Theydon_Bois (20624) - Hazlemere, the lower Xhitlerns, Buckinghamshire, ENGLAND - JUL 14, 2013
