zacgillbanks (5506) - Tyne & Wear, ENGLAND - NOV 14, 2015
Bottle from Coppers, Newcastle. Hazy dark red-brown in colour that pours with a huge rocky head of white foam. It has a blackberry, red fruit, burnt toffee and citrus flavour followed by a nutty, roasted pine finish. Very Good.

Pint bottle from Beer Ritz. Muddy dark brown, reasonable head. Grain malt aroma. Dry toffee grain malt flavour. Bitter leafy aftertaste. Nothing special.

3.2
Garrold (5613) - Sheffield, South Yorkshire, ENGLAND - OCT 15, 2015
Cask. Shakespeare’s, Sheffield. Clear, reddy copper colour. Messy, sticky, off white head. Rich, berry fruit hop to this. Some resin. Thick, sweet malts. Taste sets off sweet, before a fruity bitterness. Taste is chewy sweet, and chewy bitter. Feels a little heavy, really. Think I’d fancy this more on keg or in bottle. Ends fruity bitter. Ok.

Very hazy amber beer, good cream colour head. Palate is light and mildly crisp. Thin malts, little toffee - cream. Modest marmalade hops, some pine. Light finish. Clean and drinkable but lacking a bit of Arbor punch.

RichardW (1813) - Carlisle, Cumbria, ENGLAND - OCT 2, 2015
Bottle from Coppers Newcastle. Lovely reddy amber colour, wood and spruce aroma, full bodied maltiness offsets the hops a little. Very easy on the tongue, medicinal blackcurrant late on, finishes fairly soft. Good stuff.

3.7
johndoughty (5543) - cheslyn hay, West Midlands, ENGLAND - OCT 2, 2015
bottle. Dark bronze and slightly murky. Some hops with maltiness in the background. Hoppy finish and well rounded. Nothing outstanding but still worth trying.

3.7
jamestulloch (4330) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - SEP 30, 2015
Bottle from The Beerhive. Hazy amber body with a medium beige head. Good lacing. Aroma of fig, caramel, tea, biscuit and a faint hint of smoke. Flavour of red apple, stewed tea, earth, berries, wood and a tangy, peppery finish. Medium body with an oily mouthfeel. Light fizz. A clean, easy drinking Amber Ale.
