Opaque black - brown beer, big fluffy tan head. Nose of dark chocolate and coffee. Frothy airy palate (slight gush on opening). Mild minerals. Tangy dark malts bordering on sour. Touch of paint like it was barrelled. Nice coffee streak with a little dark chocolate. Mildly fruity finish. Interesting.

Medium sweet flavor with hefty dark malts, strong roast character, charred malts, burnt cocoa, bitter dirt. Medium bodied with average, creamy carbonation. Lightly warming on the finish, more burnt cocoa, strong roastiness, perhaps some slight prunes. Very decent brew.
