COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Brewed with 100% organic ingredients and weighing in at 7.6% ABV and 67 IBUs, this is definitely NOT your father’s pilsner. It has all of the big bold flavors you expect from craft beer while retaining the quenching drinkability of a pilsner. Brewed with bottom-fermenting yeast and traditional German noble hops for a flavorful brew with a crisp, clean flavor profile, medium malt body and a dry finish with a slightly salty character.

Had from tap at the Corner Brewery in Ypsilanti. Pours a clear gold color with a nice head. Crisp and fresh with very nice aromas of crackers, grains, some citrus and noble hops. Good depth as well. Medium bodied with a nice smooth feel. There is good weight as well with nice flavors of crackers, citrus and some noble hops. This is a real good imperial pilsner. Holds the bigger style fairly well and doesn’t come off as boozy.

Again, not into slamming beers, but come on. Chalky, murky blonde. Brand new keg. Aroma smells like cooked cabbage, with a hefty dose of hop character. Flavor is full of yeast, sulfur and muddy hop character. Chalky palate. If this is clean, would like to see dirty.

deyholla (11609) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - MAY 21, 2010
On tap. Pours a hazy gold with a green hue and a white head that laces nicely. Aroma is a combination of pine hops and grainy malts. Flavor is more one note with the pine dominating.
