Appearance: Cloudy murky orange color with a fine white head that leaves a fine lacing.
Aroma: Just lovely. I could put my nose into this citric hoppy beer for a looong while. Nice!
Palate: Medium and juicy body. Slightly sweet and a rich bitterness. Average carbonation.
Taste: Mild sweet and well balanced grape hoppy. Fruity notes.
Overall impression: What a outstanding brew! Especially at 4.4%. Perfect session beer.
Personal stats: Bottle from a trade with tomman.
Bottle from Cotteridge Wines; cloudy golden pour with foamy off white head, big piney hop aroma, grapefruit, citrus, bitter taste, quite good. The_Osprey (8222) - Richmond, Greater London, ENGLAND - MAR 13, 2013
Jan 2013 – cold bottle. Great name. Looks like mashed fruit. Completely unfiltered beer. Slightly oily and mid to full bodied. Grapefruit is the main flavour but it is balanced. Mostly pale ale qualities in the flavour. Interesting to try and nice enough. Feels ’healthy’ for some reason, though I’m sure it’s not particularly. Is heavier than a normal beer so takes a bit longer to drink, and fills you up. zacgillbanks (5299) - Tyne & Wear, ENGLAND - MAR 10, 2013
Bottle from Rehills, Newcastle. A cloudy yellow-orange beer with floral and citrus hoppy flavours followed by sweetness and pine on the finish. The_Bish (1123) - West Midlands, ENGLAND - FEB 13, 2013
Really good. Doesn’t quite live up to the sum of its parts, but has a great classic APA sniff about it. Maybe a little thin on afters, but that’s gotta be a reflection of low ABV right? Tasty. Very enjoyable.

Wife thinks it looks like poorly piss but I’ll probably get in trouble for saying that. It’s very cloudy and I think it looks good. Bitter and peachy. There’s some great APAs out there that I’ve sampled and this doesn’t quite live up to them. STEVIE_NIX (35) - - FEB 6, 2013
Bottle from cotteridge wines. Pour very cloudy almost like moulted gold. Light citrus aroma on the nose. Taste is pineapple sweetness moving to bitter grapefruit with a nice lasting bitterness. Much like beers of a much stronger ABV but at only 4.4 ABV. Another cracker from the superb Arbor ales. Yum yum!! tommann (3801) - Dudley, West Midlands, ENGLAND - FEB 3, 2013
500ml bottle. Pours a very hazy orange with a medium head. Aroma is really juicy, mango, grapefruit, melon and pineapple. Taste is very bitter, peach to start and a strong, bitter grapefruit finish. RichardW (1813) - Carlisle, Cumbria, ENGLAND - FEB 2, 2013
Cask, The Soup Kitchen, Manchester. Creamy hop aroma, soft and smooth palate, with faint citrus. Long lingering satisfying finish. Pretty damn fine johninmelb (1127) - Bristol, Gloucestershire, ENGLAND - JAN 17, 2013
Well hopped, fruity nose with some mango and papaya and a hint of lemon. Pours predictably cloudy given it’s unfiltered with a fluffy firm head. Flavour is chewily deep with grapefruit, musk and orange peel notes and a wide, bitter finish. Excellent hop tang draws you back for another swig and a complex story of tropical esthers on fire starts to unfold in the back of your throat. Rather nice.
