bottle from Darts Farm. Amber colour, white head. Malty with some roasted malts and caramel, hints of nuts and some earthy hops. Delicious beer from a reliable brewery. Fin (10840) - Merton, Oxfordshire, England, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - NOV 20, 2014
Bottle picked up at ’Jacks’ Westholme Store, Goring-on-Thames, Oxon, consumed Thursday 20th November 2014. Pours hazy grubby amber with a sticky white head. Streaky fresh hoppiness from the off but also a little malty and chewy though the bitterness lingers. Drying and a little rustic and earthy, which I rather like (and so does Loz, who really likes this) No looker but who cares, it’s a good rough and ready hoppy amber ale. Bottle. A slightly cloudy bronze appearance. Poured with a medium head. Floral hoppiness which is quite powerful. More punch than you would expect from its strength. An excellent beer if you like hops-which I do zacgillbanks (5450) - Tyne & Wear, ENGLAND - OCT 10, 2014
Bottle from Coppers, Newcastle. This is a cloudy amber-brown beer with a red fruit, caramel and floral tropical fruit flavours followed by a tart grapefruit and pine finish. Excellent!

Murky deep amber beer, good pale cream colour head. Palate is light and minerally crisp. Semi dry creamy malts with a touch of unsweet caramel. Hops start floral and then move through pine, mellow citrus, a touch of lime, and then back to a floral bitterness. Light semi dry finish shows an unexpected whisper of chocolate. Tasty.
