Our traditional northern German style Pilsner is brewed with all German malts, imported German Tettnang hops and a step-infusion mash for a classic crisp, dry, full-flavored Pilsner character. It is a deep golden, medium-full lager, with around 6% alcohol, and a distinct noble hop bitterness.

At the Michigan Beer Fest. Crisp and smooth, found this refreshing on a hot day. Very good pilsner with a character not found in most American pilsners.

On tap at the brewpub. Pours a slightly hazy yellow gold with a white head that dissipates very slowly to the edges and laces slightly. Aroma has notes of pine and weed with a good amount of backing sweet grains. Flavor has some grass that is slightly dank with a hint of pine and backing earthy grains.

I had this as part of a sampler at the brew pub. This is one of their better beers and totally unique, making it worthy of trying...The loook is fine, nice and clear but not a piss water gold...What stands out about this beer is the aroma. At first I thought I was nuts but since this was the first beer of the night I went with instinct and my beer buddy finally agreed. It smells like marijunia, throughout. I kept looking around to see if someone was smoking outside, and they weren’t. The taste is ok, not as great as the aroma, not pot taste just a light non skunky pilsner. If you like the smell of weed give this is a shot.

On tap at the brewpub. Reviewed from notes. Pours a lint straw color with a nice white head and some lacing. Nose brings a good dose of Noble hops backed by a bit of grain. Quite strong and nice. T wage has similar elements, but they aren’t as forceful. Feel is fairly thin with fairly high carbonation. Drinks quite well and is a pretty good American example of the style. Draft… RBSG 2010… Hazy straw-colored lager with a small, creamy, white head. Good retention. The bouquet is restrained, but I’m able to pull peppery hops and pale malts. Medium-bodied with tickling carbonation. Snazzy, peppery hop bitterness. Crisp, bitter, tongue-numbing finish.

Draft at brewpub. Pours a murky golden amber with average carbonation, and an earthy mouthfeel. Nice bold flavor of pilsner malts and biscuit, countered by good dose or European hops. The Noble hops are definitely sensed. Dry finish. I am somewhat surprised by the low ratings.

Tap. Pours a clear yellow. Notes of herbs, hay, grass, a little skunk. Typical. Ok not great

on tap-pours a thin white head and hazy straw color. Aroma is light malt/wheat, lemon/grassy (saaz?) hops. Taste is light malt/wheat, tart lemon/grassy/earthy hops, yeast. OK effervescence.

draft at brewpub - Pours hazy and yellowish with some lacing. The mild aroma has some hops presence. There’s a good hops flavor and finish in this medium bodied brew. Nice pilsner.

frankenkitty (2014) - Oak Lawn, Illinois, USA - JUL 2, 2007
Pallid yellow, rather clear, under a thin white head that leaves watery streaks of lace. Weak aroma with some mild green pepper. Light honey sweetness over German hop bittering, yet leaving an "off" aftertaste. Dry, almost "crisp".

A good pils, and something I could have pints of. Creamy, cloudy, peachy, lots of lace. Noble hops. Good bittering, and yet nice balance. Understated carbonation. One of the best of their abundant lineup.
