This traditional Belgian-style triple is strong, fruity, and slightly sour. It starts with a big malt presence, followed up by a pronounced candy sugar sweetness, and balanced with a spicy hop finish. A must-try. Ask your server for a taste!

12 oz. bottle. I’m not quite sure what to make of this beer. I poured it as I would any other beer, and it didn’t have any head, and sort of resembled apple cider, which seemed a bit odd, so i just thought it had a high ABV, whatever. Then after smelling and tasting, I’m thinking I either got a bad batch, or this is just a neglected beer. It kinda tastes like it was a good beer at some point, and maybe improper beer storage, etc made it what it is now. I’ve had a few other offerings from ABC all of which were pretty good, but this is the worst. oh well.

Tasted 1/4/09. 12oz bottle. Activated pour was hazy ansd sedimented. Golden brown hue. Bubbled off-white head. Typical nose, citrus and bananas with caramel malt character. Medium bodied with a soft carbonation. Caramel and slight pepper. Perfumy and candy. Just decent at best.

flat pour with no head and looks like apple cider. Sweet bubble gum , sour fruits and more sourness. This is not going well......Very flat......I think it might be a bad bottle......usual tripple flavors and slight alcohol on the tail end.......wow this isnt very good Im gonna dump this and try another bottle.......hold on.......nope...... extremely dissapointed.

From 10-Beer Flight at Arbor Brewing Company Brewpub on December 1, 2008. Ultra-light yellow-white color! Very nice lacing. Super light aroma. Its flavor, though, is so much better. Light, but just a little sweet. You can detect a little alcohol presence amongst the lemon and hops. Good, but their dubbel is better in my opinion. Could use more alcohol for a triple.

It definetely starts with a hefe banana yeasty aroma with a hint of citrus. The flavor was slightly sweet.

12 oz bottle. Pours a cloudy yellowish brown with lots of sediment. The head is small and white (even after a vigorous pour) and quickly diminishes to a thin collar.

The aroma is very subdued - bready grains and some bananas and cloves.

The flavor is sweet malts, a little banana and clove, and a pretty harsh alcoholic bitter finish. The mouthfeel is medium to full and slightly syrupy with almost no carbonation.

Overall, not that great of a tripel - it’s under-carbonated and pretty subdued other than the alcohol.

Draft at daze of the devil. Golden orange pour with fruit and cane in the nose. Good spiced hop character. 10abv well hidden.

Excellent taste, it taste more like a whit should. Great malt with a balance of hops. Fulfills traditional expectations of a tripel yet brings a modern hue of spice. A great conversation piece.

Appeared a medium/dark-orange in the glass with minimal head. It smelled stongly of citrus fruit and slight hops. It tasted fruity/whiney with little bite. It was definitely a smooth drink, which is probably why the menu says "limit 3".

On tap @ Coles Buffalo NY. Thanks Metzger. Pours a golden color with big white frothy head. Hefe clove & banana aromas. Starts of with banana & clove hefe features then hits you with the Belgian yeasty & earthiness. Somewhat swet also. Decent
