Clear medium orange yellow colour with a average, frothy to creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted - caramel, fruity, light to moderate hoppy, citrus, fruity. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat.
Bottle.Golden. Citrus at first with a bitter finish. Perhaps slightly too bitter for my personal taste but still a very nice beer.

Bottle from Cotteridge Wines, Birmingham. Poured a slightly cloudy straw yellow with a bubbly white head and some broken lace. The aroma hits you right away. It was like sticking my head in a bag full of fresh grass cuttings! If i’d mashed the contents of that bag and added some alcohol, than probably best describes the flavour too! The balance between the grassy floral hoppiness and the dry bitterness on the palate was right. Make no mistake about it, served slightly cool, this is an amazingly flavourful and highly refreshing beer. RichardW (1813) - Carlisle, Cumbria, ENGLAND - DEC 26, 2012
Bottle Rehills Ncl. Pours a dusty pale gold with a thin bubbly head. Yeasty burnt leaves aroma. Flavours of tart gooseberry, reasonably sharp on the tongue initially, but smooths out with some cherry very late on in the background. Smoky characteristics come on later in the finish. That initial yeastiness does spoil it for me though. zacgillbanks (5535) - Tyne & Wear, ENGLAND - DEC 20, 2012
