Single hop series.
As the name suggests weve used just one variety of hop in this pale golden ale. For this range we select the more interesting hops and add several bucket loads to each brew. This one uses the New Zealand variety Kohatu. Expect bold flavours of tropical fruits and sweet citrus, followed by a bitter finish.

Aroma: Pine, ash and lemon. Hints of tomato vine and white wine.

Appearance: Hazy golden body with a medium chalk-white head. Average carbonation. Good lacing.

Taste: Big pine flavour with subtle herbal hints and, strangely, freshly cut tomatoes. Bitter finish.

Palate: Medium body with a luscious, oily mouthfeel. Soft carbonation.

Overall: Unusual, but pretty tasty. This hop reminds me a little of Nelson Sauvin, but with less fruit characteristics.
