Bottle from Cotteridge Wines, Birmingham. Poured a slightly cloudy yellow colour with a white frothy head and lots of frothy lace. The aroma is big grassy and floral, leading to a weak bitter flavour with grass, nettles and some dry pepper notes on the palate. A super refreshing summer beer. johninmelb (1127) - Bristol, Gloucestershire, ENGLAND - JAN 12, 2013
Bottle from West Country Ales. Citrussy nose with some lychee and some sweet candy. Pours cloudy pale straw gold with no head but good lace. Flavour follows the nose but adds some sprucey spice - maybe pine needles in an orange grove. Finish is pleasingly bitter with some grapefruit tang. Ok, but I’ve had better in this series. Bottle. Golden and slightly cloudy. Hoppy and bitter with traces of citrus.Plenty of body considering its relatively low strength. How does this brewery do it? Well worth trying. JohnRMurdoch (4824) - Glasgow, SCOTLAND - AUG 2, 2012
Bottle from The Euston Tap. Cloudy pale light yellow brown colour, not much head. Cereal & citrus fruit aroma. Citrus fruit & mild fagash malt flavour. Bitter aftertaste. A well balanced good modern refreshing British golden ale.

Bottle from Grape & Grind, Bristol. Pale gold with a slight white head. Pineapple and peach aroma with some sweet malts and a peppery edge. Easy drinking, with some slightly creamy malts, more tropical fruits and a tingly, dry finish. Enjoyable.
