750 ml pours a lucious darker amber orange hue, healthy glow, with frothy brighter white head dies to a film, laces ok. Aromas are very fruity, with mangos and citrus, some touches of pear and apple, melon, raspberries and grapefruit seems to take a focus, lots of tropical fruit roll into the fold. Fruity pancake melange. Initial is a decent sour kick up front throwing a decent lemony lactic kick, moving into yogurt, wet oak, and touches of berry fruit. Bread, raspberries, and oak. Some wild brett, though lacto seems to take over. Itís not all that sour, just a decent edge up front dying into yogurt, and a very drinkable sour Blonde Ale. Pretty nice, nothing overbearing, actually sour (unlike a good deal of the Arbor beers). A very fruity nose, solid sour kick but very drinkable. Raspberries and tons of grapefruit, solid sourness. Not real bretty, remaining vibrant and fruity, my favorite Arbor sour to date I believe.

750ml bottle. Thanks to Adam for sharing...pours an orangey brown semi-hazy hue and topped with a soapy white head... Sour fruit and gin aromatics with peppery raspberriness upfront, somewhat sweet in the middle. Middle of the road. Tame... Flavors are sour and puckering at first with raspberry and grapefruitiness, some lemony warhead accents provide some character. Mild sourness but def kind of enjoyable. Ok I kind of dig it. A somewhat more assertive bottleworks 12 with less raspberries and more of a grapefruit citrus feel.

Bottle, pours hazy gold with white head. Nose has a big fruity kick with lacto, raspberries, buckwheat, and maple syrup. Flavors were light, dull raspberries, grapefruit peel, lactic, and emergen-c. Thin body.

Bottle:   Bright caramel, becomes darker as I near the bottom of the bottle, moderate to large frothy tannish head, spotty lacing.   Wonderful nose of flora and spices, with wooden notes from the barrel aging.   Very tart up front, smooth, a bit of fresh floral notes, some faint barnish or musty flavors on the exit.   Not too sour, at least to the point of over salivating.   This one is just right, great aroma and flavor, all being very floral like, with a good dose of tarness.   This was a pleasant surprise.   Finish shows a bit of the oak.   Moderate dryness on this one too.   Very well done!   Thanks for this rarity Kevin!

Bottle: The aroma consists of strawberry candies, raspberry, light lemon, cinnamon, and oak. It pours a cloudy/murky brownish-orange with a small beige head that fades to a thick ring around the edges of the glass. The flavor starts with a quick dose of strawberry candies and lighter raspberry. The finish quickly hits pretty hard with sour lemon, citrus, and a hint of oak. At times itís mouth puckering. Other times, the sourness seems to be eased by the sweet strawberry. Light-medium bodied with light-moderate carbonation. Overall, itís very tasty, but my only slight complaint is that the strawberry flavor comes across as artificial or candy-ish at times. Generally, while I like strawberries, Iím not a big fan of strawberry candies. With that said, itís not like the flavor is overbearing by any means.

I didnít know this was so rare, but Iím happy to have sampled the whole of my bottle. Hazy deep copper coloured body with a nice off-white head that fades relatively fast with a bit of yeast sediment noticeable on the bottom. Aroma of sour cherries, tart raspberries, a touch of oak, some very minor malts and a good sweetness. Medium-bodied; Assertive sourness noticeable up front with cherries and raspberries both noticeable and a good tart puckering maltiness also around. Aftertaste shows a more well-rounded, complex note with some light malt, sweetness and more fruit flavours. Overall, a very nice representation of the style and a great beer to sample if you havenít had the style much, especially from a brewery in the states, especially Michigan. I sampled this 75 cL bottle purchased from Merchantís in Dearborn, Michigan on 28-April-2011 for US$15.99 sampled at home in Washington in celebration for my birthday past on 10-July-2011.

Another big thanks to Ditmier for sharing this. Pours grapefruit juice with weak white head. The aroma has muted notes of cotton, hay, spices, herbs and yeastiness. The taste is pretty smooth with some apples, tart un-ripe cherries, herbal notes, a modest level of tartness and slightly chalky yeasty notes left clinging to the inside of my mouth.
