On tap at the pub. Aroma of some light chocolate and very sweet and maybe some earthy euro hops. An average body and also some alcohol coming through. GregClow (3402) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - JUL 28, 2003
MIBG Fest: Ruby-brown colour with little head. Aroma is malty and slightly skunky - perhaps they used some Saaz hops, I often mistake them for skunkiness. Some pleasant caramel notes with a good flavour balance. Not that exciting, but decent. Rastacouere (6177) - Montreal, Quebec, CANADA - JUL 28, 2005
Deep reddish brown, fading off-white head. Nutty and toasted bread nose is mostly malty with a faint earthy whisp. Fruity, grapey, lightly leathery, appealing nose. Filling the mouth medium body, gentle soft carbonation. The flavors are sweet, oily and bready. Clean, but simple. Mildly translucent and dirty copper-bronze in color with some dissipating tan bubbles that serve as lace. Milk chocolate and caramel lead to a copper kettle tinged Rolo aroma. Sweet, brown sugar crumble over apple pie, along with some wafts of cinnamon and apple juice. Flavor projects blonde bock traits. Curt vanilla and caramel sequence. Spicy, tin inundated deposits and peppered baguettes. Butterscotch underlies it all. Medium-to-full bodied. Balanced is skewed by over noble hopping, and the fundamental malt requirements seem to have been neglected. Finishes with spicy grain and butterscotch drizzles. A fair rendition. Hazt orange red color. A little vanilla and sour cerry along with some baking spice on the nose. Body is smooth but falls a little flat in the finish. A little one note.

On tap December 2009 at the brewpub. Reviewed from notes.
Pours a light caramel brown. Brings forward quite a bit of sweetness and a bit of caramel and spice. Slightly hoppy. Taste brings hints of caramel and toffee, but mostly some generic sweetness. Feel is fairly light but works with the milder flavors. Drinkability is okay, but not a great representation of the style.

Draft at 2004 MBG Summer Festival. Small sized tan head and fine sized bubbles that fully diminished. Uncarbonated, hazy and an orange-brown hue. Malty and alcohol aroma. Sweet and malty flavor. Smooth, watery and thn palate. Light bodied beer with fair lacing. BBB63 (6557) - La Porte, Indiana, USA - JAN 28, 2006
On tap at brewery: Brownish hue with reddish highlights topped by a small head and some lace. The aroma has notes of caramel and toffee, bready and biscuit, plum, apple, herbal hops, and dusty esters. The taste is mostly malt with some twangy fruit added on top. A very light bitterness is found deep within and on the finish. A one-diminsional bock with little depth. The feel is smooth and slightly warming. A bit disappointing as it seems not to want to step to plate, too reserved on all fronts. mds (2250) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - JUL 31, 2006
Draught. Hazy caramel colour with a fluffy off-white bubbly head. Smells like sugar candy and caramel. The flavour is strange - soapy caramel and butterscotch with secondary sour notes. Weak. and not really much to get excited about. Atlove (41) - USA - JAN 26, 2008
Terminator Doppelbock pours a hazy toffee brown with very little head. The flavor is bready and sweet with some spice, but disappointingly thin and without much alcohol presence for this style. The best part of this beer for me was the 25 cent donation towards hunger relief.
