We pushed our small brewery right to the limit to create this bad boy. We selected half a dozen of our favourite American hops, grown in the Yakima Valley, Washington State, and added bucket loads of each. With twice the hop rate of most of our other beers, it really is very hoppy indeed.

Keg at The Hop Inn, Newcastle-Under-Lyme. A clear amber colour with a medium off white head. Aroma of passion fruit, orange, some grapefruit, slight pine, a little caramel and subtle red berries. Taste of orange, grapefruit, resin, some passion fruit, slight caramel, a little fruit and subtle grassy hops. Medium bodied and an oily texture. A dry, slightly resinous, fruity hop bitterness in the finish. Surprisingly fruity but also quite bitter. A nice array of flavours but only average for an IPA.
