Aroma: Nice bitterish hops with some darker malts.
Flavour: Dry dark hops and mildly toasted malt.
Tasty. A good one.
tap. Deep brown/ near black with one finger head. Big roasty malt body with hops to match. Bitter finish. Pretty decent for the style.

Pours a dark reddish-brown with a 2-inch tan head. The initial nose suggests toasted grain, smokiness, and density. Medium full body with rich, smoky notes on the palate. Nice bitter lingering. Belgian lace. The ABV is not noticeable. Modest carbonation. Delicious. Would be excellent with grilled and smoked food. Will seek again. hopdog (12584) - Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA - SEP 2, 2013
12oz bottle. Poured a dark brown color with an off white head. Roast, floral hops, grains, and some chocolate. EtTuCthulhu (1391) - Columbia, Missouri, USA - SEP 1, 2013
The aroma of this brew is a combination of roasted malts, caramel malts, and floral hops that hits you in the face, and the appearance has a clear, very dark garnet color with a large, pillowy, off-white head, which is gorgeous. The taste is mildly bitter, mildly umami, and a touch sweet, and the palate fuses a medium body, slick texture, soft carbonation, and a long finish that is merely an extension of the hearty, malty, and bitter taste.

Pours very dark, almost black. Thin off-white head that lasts the whole beer. No lacing at all. Aroma is dark-roast and sugary malt. Mouthfeel is creamy. A sort of astringent roast flavor. Not much in the way of hop aroma or flavor. Sammy (12212) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - AUG 10, 2013
Big hoppy beer with a good balance of roast, not overdone.Well malted for drinkability. Black bodied with some head. Not the best, a little weak on mouthfeel. MaroonOrange (137) - - AUG 5, 2013
Bottle. Pours a dark brown. Aroma is molasses, caramelized sugar and malt. Flavor is roasted grain and molasses with a mild hoppy finish. A nice dark double IPA. nike (966) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - JUL 29, 2013
draft, brown pour with a thin tan head. Aroma of dark roasted malts, slight hop. Flavor of slight roasted malt/ coffee, very little hop. Not well balanced, not much of a finsh or bite to it. Overall a decent brew, could use a little tweaking from the brewing. LinusStick (3462) - Moon Twp, suburb of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - JUL 21, 2013
Meh...a decent run of the mill black IPA. Nothing special here. Aroma was very nice. Strong green hops with a hint of roasted malt. Pour was a nice deep dark brown with a one finger tan head. Taste was a little bland, but was OK. Strong push and pull between the roasted malt and hops. Decent carbonation.
