Bottle shared with Chudwick the C.H.U.D. of the New York sewers. Whiskey shakes at the first sniff. I get some vanilla, brown sugar, and bourbon. My poor dog is having pushups done by his ass by a toddler. Remembering a time before children and friends‘ children and this thing called freedom that I never cherished enough, but should have. Do you remember a time? Like a child molester use to sing about. 48FanInCali (857) - California, USA - FEB 17, 2013
12oz bottle. Nearly headless caramel pour. Nose of sweet malt, bourbon, vanilla, toffee, and caramel. Taste is really nice with a great balance of toffee, vanilla, coconut, and bourbon. Not overly hot at all. Mouthfeel is a little thin compared to others in this style but the sweetness is really well done.

Overall I had high hopes for this one, especially after smelling it, but the taste just has too much alcohol up front at the moment. It gets considerably better as it warms up, but it is very strong. It’s a little over carbonated but the nose is great. I’d rank this slightly behind the BA stout, and way behind the BA porter, though I could see this being much better with more time on it. Will hold onto my other bottle for a while, at least a year.

Tap at brewery. Pitch. Nice little bit of lingering head. Nose is straight up bourbon barrel. Tastes of decadent fudge, dark chocolate, mild raisin. I normally don’t like barley wines, but this... this is something.

Pours mahogany in color with very little head and no lacing or visible carbonation. Aroma of vanilla, cough syrup, bourbon, coke, and dark fruits. Taste is the same with additional Carmel and brown sugar. Wow. This is an outstanding and complex beer. njager246 (699) - grand rapids, Michigan, USA - MAR 22, 2014

Bottle to snifter. 5/12/13. Pours deep brown with a fluffy, beige head. Aroma is cereal, breads, vanilla, caramel, fruit, oak, wood, alcohol. Taste is malty, fruity, sweet, acidic, caramel, bourbon, wood (oak), earth, vanilla, hint of leather; finish of citrus, fruit skin, dark fruit, dry vanilla. Alcohol is very well-hidden. Beautiful lacing. Chewy mouth feel. Medium carbonation. Excellent. jbrana (640) - NASHVILLE, Tennessee, USA - SEP 24, 2013
Nice and sweet and very boozy. Flavors of raisins, bourbon, vanilla, caramel, oak, and burnt sugar. Very good if in the mood for something sweet.

The BA Cereal Killer pours mahogany in color with a weak bubbly khaki head that hugs the ring of my glass. The aroma is of sweet bourbon, lite oak, carmel malts, and a touch of vanilla. As for taste I picked up on sweet carmel malts, sweet bourbon, booze, brown sugar, a tad bit of spice, vanilla, and a toffee like flavor. The sweetness masked the booze and bitterness pretty well. I find that the finish is the most enjoyable part in this beverage. In the end all that sweetness is hit but not taken over by the spices, bitterness, and the booze. This beverage reminds me of a good girl who can be a little freaky. Overall this worth a try and somewhat of a memorable experience.
