From a bottle poured a dark brown/black color with very little head. Strong sweet malty flavor with a lasting finish. jdskinns (220) - South Roxana, Illinois, USA - FEB 26, 2013
Bottle. Pours a dark cola color with slights off white head. Aroma is bourbon, barrel, brown sugar, dark fruit, and some melon. Taste is bourbon, brown sugar, sweet. Not as much fruit or barrel in the taste as in the aroma but still very good. Advocate_Ames (635) - Steubenville, Ohio, USA - JUL 28, 2013
The BA Cereal Killer pours mahogany in color with a weak bubbly khaki head that hugs the ring of my glass. The aroma is of sweet bourbon, lite oak, carmel malts, and a touch of vanilla. As for taste I picked up on sweet carmel malts, sweet bourbon, booze, brown sugar, a tad bit of spice, vanilla, and a toffee like flavor. The sweetness masked the booze and bitterness pretty well. I find that the finish is the most enjoyable part in this beverage. In the end all that sweetness is hit but not taken over by the spices, bitterness, and the booze. This beverage reminds me of a good girl who can be a little freaky. Overall this worth a try and somewhat of a memorable experience. DoublEE (782) - South Euclid, Ohio, USA - AUG 8, 2013
Overall I had high hopes for this one, especially after smelling it, but the taste just has too much alcohol up front at the moment. It gets considerably better as it warms up, but it is very strong. It’s a little over carbonated but the nose is great. I’d rank this slightly behind the BA stout, and way behind the BA porter, though I could see this being much better with more time on it. Will hold onto my other bottle for a while, at least a year.

Poured from. Bottle I picked up in lansing. Pours a ruby amber with a thin tan head. Oak and sweet caramel and malt up front. Alcohol. Slightly tart and very bready. Very malty. Somewhat bitter also. Very nice beer.

One year old 12oz bottle shared by the motorcycle-loving AndyReynolds - nose is wood, booze and bourbon. Sip adds chocolate (malt) and brown sugar. Sweet. Big body. A sipper. BMMillsy (1788) - Florida, USA - APR 1, 2014
Bottle from trade. Looks like it says 2012 on the bottle, poured 4/1/14. Pours murky brown with a bit of purple and red, and a small creamy yellowish brown head. Smells like vanilla, caramel, marshmallow, toffee, fig, bourbon. Beautiful. Flavor is gifs and bourbon, a blast of vanilla on the finish, slight oxidization but not bad. Mouthfeel starts rich and thick, but with very low carbonation that seems to make this feel a little thin. Some more carb would help the mouthfeel. Very nice beer that I would like to try fresh. Pours opaque chocolate brown with a thin buff head. Aroma has caramel and - surprise! - bourbon-soaked wood notes. Flavor has a fierce alcohol bite that nevertheless lets through arty, caramel, and bourbon tones. Watch out, this is for the bold and the brave ONLY! Viscous texture has some good fizz. A killer! ryanfolty (2585) - Bourbon County, Minnesota, USA - MAR 17, 2015
March 17, 2015 - 2012 bottle via trade. Brown pour with limited bubbly head. Aroma was malt, caramel, bourbon and dark fruit. Taste was consistent with aroma and balanced, but just not a high quality bourbon flavor. Silphium (3199) - Traverse City, Michigan, USA - MAY 3, 2013
Bottle. Ruddy orange-brown body, thin off-white head. Hot nose with notes of bourbon, oak, raisin, and caramel; alcohol prevalent. Oaky, soft body with layers of caramel, toast, and bread, finishing with warming alcohol notes. Yum.
