Amazing beer. Brewed specifically for the Kalamazoo marathon. Served in English pint glass at Arcadia and I hear it will be sold in 22oz singles at the race tent. Very Hoppy aroma. Clear gold appearance with half inch or so white head. This has a rye character with lots of hops. Similar to some double/imperial ipas I’ve had actually. Grapefruit and salty pale ale finish. Amazing beer and one of the best from an already fine brewery. I wish it could be purchased year round. walleye (1099) - Sterling Heights, Michigan, USA - JUN 14, 2012

golden with small head. plenty of hops, but not quite ipa-like. slightly fruity. extremely well balanced. full of flavor, but light and very easy to drink. a very excellent pale ale. Onslow (1495) - Kalamazoo, Michigan, USA - AUG 19, 2012
Pour from 22 oz bottle. Medium amber brew, clear with off white head that soon passes. Aroma of hops dominated - resin, floral blend, a bit of grass and crisp fruit, overall a little cidery. Taste is very fine - lightly sweet malts can be found at the start of the swallow but then the hops kick in - floral with grass and a little resin. Crisp fruit / green apple tones. Fine lingering finish. This is excellent! fattybladdy (628) - Kalamazoo, Michigan, USA - JAN 6, 2013

Blonde with some backing grain. Really light with pronounce hop bitterness. Nice floral and grapefruit kick to it. b3shine (8864) - Indiana, USA - MAY 12, 2012
Draft to pint. Looks decent; a little light though. Smells and tastes pretty good; light and hoppy. Nice on the palate. Pretty good stuff. Advocate_Ames (626) - Steubenville, Ohio, USA - FEB 13, 2013
A nice foam head. The aroma is of grapefruit, slight malts, and floral hops. The flavor is refreshing. It is full of a sweet sugar citrus character, grains, and hops. I do not taste the malts until the aftertaste, which lingers in the mouth mildly with a hop flavor. There is also a bitterness that is not potent. The only thing that was off putting here was the impact on my palate. It is not harsh to it but the palate was affect more than I anticipated. Overall this was a nice beverage. Golden orange pour with a white head. Some floral, citrus, grass and some nice hops overall. Pretty good pale. Tmoney99 (14457) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - AUG 17, 2012
Draft. Poured a clear golden color with an average frothy off-white head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate resin hop and small malt aroma. Medium body with a slick texture and soft carbonation. Medium bittersweet flavor with a medium bittersweet finish of moderate duration. I would recommend this to a freind.
