Bottle 35,5 cl. Courtesy of Doodler. Pours a dark brown with a rough beige head. Sweet Bourbon and vanilla aroma, some licorice allsorts. Medium body only, discreet roast, some dark dried fruit and a subtle Bourbon edge. A slight tartness, a whiff of roast, but it’s hard to believe that this is 12%. Very sessionable. 030711

Opaque black beer, tidy tan head. Smooth palate, a little dry. Good fine carbonation. Smooth dark malt, not bitter or roasty. Toasted coconut and a modicum of vanilla. Mild bourbon. Mild minerals. Well buried figgy and pruney fruits. Semi dry finish. Nicely joined up and hides the abv well.
