Bourbon galore & its fantastic! Beautiful black pour w/ a lasting tan head & nice lacing. The aroma is primarily bourbon w/ some oak & vanilla coming through. The flavor is mainly slightly sweet bourbon, booze, & a hint of porter bitterness in the finish. The mouthfeel is very light yet its still a sipping beer. Powerful & worth the $7 for a 12 oz bottle experience!

Bottle at home. Nearly black pour with very little head. The aroma is raisins, oxidation, fudge, whiskey, oak. This is full bodied and viscous. Flavors of ripe red fruits, vanilla, butterscotch, wood, cocoa powder, char. Light acidity on the finish. Very good.

Pleasantly different. I believe this was the first barrel aged porter Ive ever had. Though high ABV it didnt overwhelm and I was especially happy to find the vanilla flavor coming through.

Bottle @ home shared with Caesar. Opaque pitch black color, average sized beige to light brown head that diminishes fairly quickly. Aroma is malts, bourbon, vanilla, bourbon rum soaked raisins. Taste malts, bourbon, dark overripe fruits, dark malts and bitter. Full body, medium carbonation. Very nice.

This bottled brew from a bottle shop poured a head of foamy finely sized brown colored bubbles that were mostly lasting and left behind a no visible carbonation opaque except at the edges dark black brown colored body and an excellent lacing. The nice aroma was bourbon. The mouth feel was weakly tingly at the start and at the finish with a lingering mild roasted malt aftertaste. The strong flavor contained notes of cucumber roasted malt bourbon and chocolate. Delicious and one I would certainly like to have again.

Black pour with tan head than fades to leave a thin film on tol of beer. Sweet aroma. Flavor is nice with vanilla, chocolate, and coffee with a nice bourbon touch. Palate is light enough to not weigh yo down but is not overly thin. Good body for a porter. One of my wifes better random purchases.
