This triple chocolate stout is a unique interpretation of the style, combining three different chocolate malts, cacao nibs and sixty three percent semi-sweet chocolate, creating a sinfully delicious brew. The addition of blackstrap molasses produces an earthy, caramelized tone in an already complex flavor profile. It’s creamy, milkshake-like mouthfeel earns this beer the reputation of being dessert in glass

Just ok, the chocolate is there but things don’t see well integrated and the body is too thin. Drinkable but just not great. Something about Arcadia beers just don’t seem to excite me (yet).

Draft at Milkboy. Opaque brown pour with a head that quickly disappeared entirely. Chocolate liquorice. Some cold coffee. Some light charcoal grill. No bad notes but still feels way too shallow to tango with the big boys. Could be improved.

draft that poured a dark brown to almost black in color. minimal mocha head. the aroma was dark malts, cocoa. the body was a little thin for this or maybe I am just mistaken. the flavor was just ok for me. you get the roasted malts mixed in with the chocolate. nothing over the top about this one its just your run of the mill chocolate stouts.

It has a very dark brown colored body with a lighter brown colored head on top. The head is thick and very slowly fades to thin cap which hangs on till the end and make for some slick lace on the glass. The aroma has loads of roasted dark malts that fills the nose with notes of dark chocolate and just hint of the hops. Its flavor has big roasted dark malt sweetness with notes of dark chocolate, creamy milk chocolate, dark caramel and molasses. Hop flavor comes out in the finish and adds some modest bitterness for balance. Its palate quite firm and has a smooth creamy texture with lively carbonation.

On tap at Brunzies. Mild roast, bit of chocolate and coffee and Tootsie Roll. Carbonic tang and soy. Dark brown-black clear with thin frothy off-white head. Medium body with medium-high carbonation. Starts sweet with cocoa and coffee, Tootsie Roll. Dusty grain and roasted barley. Sweet smooth finish with nutty after, tinny.

Bottled 09/12. Mediocre chocolate stout, molasses and lactose mainly contribute a cloying taste. Lots better chocolate stout is out there.

Looks and smells great! Like a good stout shoulf...However the chocolate is way too overpowering.... terribly dry finish.... a few slight changes could make this a top notch stout

Wow a great chocolate aroma, flavor is a little weaker and a tad thin, so close to a fantastic beer.

Dark brown pour with a light beige head. Aromas of subtle cocoa and sweet malts. Body is thin and the flavor watery malts with just a touch of chocolate. Not anywhere near as rich and robust as I was hoping for. Not offensive, but pretty darn boring.

12 Fl. Oz. Bottle. Cola brown in color, minimal off white head and no lacing. Aroma of chocolate and malts. Taste is a bit bland, chocolate and roasted malts. Not that great, lacks thickness and richness, just OK.
