Everybody has described it as well, if not better than i could. It’s tough to find a good 2IPA around, so this has become one of my best friends. mribm (463) - Ocala, Florida, USA - NOV 22, 2007
Aroma: Very aromatic, smelling of pine scented hops. Modulo (6) - Sellersville, Pennsylvania, USA - NOV 10, 2007 does not count
Appearance: Poured a cloudy orange color with a big frothy, long lasting head which left ample lacing throughout the entire glass.
Flavor: Sweet, malty, hoppy and delicious describe this Double IPA.
Palate: Nice mouthfeel for a big beer like this. Hides the alcohol well and has lots of hops in the finish.
Overall: I love this ale and will have to give it many more tries. It’s going to be a Hoppy Christmas in Hurley. New York!
Just recently poured fresh from tap. Delicious creamy head and enough citrus to just cut through the hoppiness of this beer raymundo00 (19) - - JUN 29, 2012
Nice malt base with a lot of pine. Good carbonation and a nice head retention. Awesome brew. ordybill (1815) - Douglasville, Georgia, USA - DEC 24, 2015
Poured from a 12 OZ bottle into a pint glass. The appearance is a great looking clear reddish amber with a white head. The aroma if full of citrus, hops and grass. The taste is full on citrus with some hops. Overall, a great DIPA.
