Dry-hopped with Columbus hops in our open fermenters, our IPA boasts a bright floral aroma and flavor reminiscent of pine and lemon peel. The pronounced hop bitterness is balanced by a medium-bodied caramel and biscuity malt character with a nutty finish. It showcases many subtle earthy bitter notes, rather than the resinous citrus-rind bite often featured in many American-style IPA’s.

Poor mans alpha king. Low score does not tell the tale with this brew. Bottle. Mid-October. Had engagement photos today & a dark beer war tasting at gomers. It’s tasty & more complex than a weak palate will notice. Although I’m not from michigan, I’m partial to michigan beer.

Bottle from Arcadia "Hop Box." Pours a hazy dark gold with a good sized soapy head. Aroma is floral and resinous; taste has fairly significant hop bitterness followed by some bready sweetness. Very plain.

Orange aromas, light bubble gum, light biscuit. Clear orange with a somewhat lasting white head. Pretty dry, citrusy. Medium bodied.

Poured into a becher pint glass, the appearance was a semi-hazy golden color with a finger and a half’s worth of white frothy head. Sly lace. The aroma had a bright citrusy hop burst over some earthy hop bitterness. Light leafy dryness with a little bit of floral to herbal character. The flavor dryly leaned towards the sweet side in a malty sort of way. Hop tones seem a bit dispersed to allow the malt base become a bit sturdier and run throughout the aftertaste. Slight malty sort of finish. The feel was almost medium bodied with a good carbonation about it. ABV felt as appropriate. Fairly smooth along my tongue. Overall, seemed more of an English styled IPA to me and came across pretty clean and would be well done if that’s what Arcadia intended.

Pours a deep golden color with a big white foamy head. Aroma is hope. Taste of grapefruit, lemon, very crisp. Not bad. I’m not an IPA guy....

UPDATED: FEB 3, 2017 Draft at Irish Pol. Top of a keg. Murky orange amber pour with a thick frothy white top. Mess of lace. Earthy forest floor florals. Oranges and twigs. Burnt bamboo. Persimmon. Aloe. Dirt. Poison ivy. Not your typical IPA. Points for being different.

Hazy deep golden with a thick foamy ivory head. Bright bitter earthy dry hop aroma with a leafy tone and a little pith. Crisp bitter earthy tone with a lovely floral resin hoppiness and lovely hop complexities. Just interesting and pithy and earthy and bitter. Dry but balanced.

Bottled. No clear date. Pours deep honey, white bubbly head. Aroma is sweet malt, sugar, orange, citrus. Flavor is orange, kind of generic ale, slightly bitter, malt. May be old. Or may just not be a very good ipa.

hayduke (5731) - Eureka, California, USA - MAR 25, 2016
Pours a lightly hazy copper color with a white head. Nose of fruity and citruss hop over light caramel malt. Medium body. Flavor is citrus and fruit over caramel malts. Dry bitter finish. Good drinking.

Bottle. Pungent aroma a mixed bag of earthy/pine hop, spice, caramel, peaches and citrus. Hop content doesn’t produce much bitterness but the flavors are quite good. Peach, orange, hop, spice, floral, malt.

This kinda feels like you’re drinking mouth wash or something. It tastes good, but feels weird...
