bottle - Pours slightly hazy orange and smells of pumpkin pie spices, which of course is the point. The flavor is fairly sweet with nutmeg and cinnamon noticeable but not overly strong. Light to medium bodied. Average or a little better overall. Dacrza (1035) - Great Meadows, New Jersey, USA - OCT 22, 2015
DATE TASTED: October 22, 2015 ... GLASSWARE: Schneider Wiesen Edel-Weisse pokal... OCCASION: another good Thursday ends with some beer... APPEARANCE: lazy, hazy, off-white head that settles to a consistent halo; body is an orange-amber, equally hazy body with slight effervescence--a fitting, Autumnal view... AROMA: light gingerbread, nutmeg and pumpkin spices allure the nostrils; a wheaty clove spice... PALATE: thin, wheaty in consistency; smooth and easy drinking--a bit too easy?... TASTE: a mellow, blunted impact that belies the aroma; nutmeg and pumpkin spices are clearest, with cinnamon and allspice or pepper developing the profile into a larger-than-expected flavor experience; the lightness of body plays out in the flavor, allowing for a swift sipping and a reasonably enjoyable quality... OVERALL: not sure how to take this one at first, with its lightness exhibiting a wheat beer, its ABV upwards of an ale, and a taste that blend the two... intriguing enough to encourage another bottle--a possibility, but not a necessity...

aroma of a bit of nutmeg and cinnamon. Taste is a nice cinnamon sugar with a bit of a spice aftertaste. One of the better pumpkin beers. jsporrer (1116) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - SEP 28, 2015
Pours a clear orangish brown in color. A little bit of spice in the aroma but not overpowering. Taste is a little thin with some fall spice flavors but nothing out of the ordinary. Somewhat disappointing.

It’s nutmeg and water. That’s it. The aroma fools you. High Aroma that is spiced and warm. The flavor was weak. It was low at first, water and ale had no taste. Then you get a nutmeg taste, that’s it. Like you licked the spoon or something. Palate is watery. Color is decent. Tap fidemaster (335) - Naperville, Illinois, USA - SEP 6, 2015
Aroma is pumpkin and nutmeg. Rich orange color. It has a strong nutmeg, and allspice taste. Not much else.

On tap @ Radio Maria. Deep golden amber, average white head. Spicy pumpkin aroma and flavour, medium sweetness, bready undertones. TheBear11D (365) - Michigan, USA - DEC 29, 2014
12 oz bottle poured into a lager glass.
Jaw-Jacker pours a cloudy apricot bronze with a thin beige head that doesn’t last long. The aroma is pumpkin and spice. The flavor is also pumpkin and spice. Overall this beer is average. The spice is muddled although it is decent with the pumpkin. BrewBoxer (2664) - New York, New York, USA - DEC 26, 2014
Draft at the stone street tavern on stone street . Pours light tan color with a very sweet aroma. Very artificial pumpkin pie flavor. Eh
