From bottle. Pours light amber orange. Very little carbonation or head. Nice speaking spicy smell. More cider than pumpkin pie. The taste reflects the smell. Malty lite body upfront and then finishes very spicy with an apple tart finish.

Sample at Buckeye Beer Engine on 9/14/14. Clear amber pour with a thin off-white head. Aroma of cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, malt and allspice. Malty flavor with ginger, cinnamon and allspice before a slightly bitter hop finish. ryrpat (387) - Illinois, USA - OCT 5, 2014
Probably one of if not the best pumpkin spice ale. So smooth and drinkable would buy this again

Pours a cloudy orange. Aroma and taste are spices, pumpkin, and some bready malts. tectactoe (3125) - Michigan, USA - OCT 1, 2014
Tap: Tinted amber & light copper with a mildly beige, thin layer of foam on top. Aroma is mostly heavy ginger & clove with a strong cinnamon afterbirth. More spiced than pumpkin itself; I think the ginger is a little overpowering. Or maybe it’s the clove. Taste is the same way, perhaps a little *too* spicy. Definitely the ginger but there’s an awful lot of clove, too. Mildly metallic aftertaste with a slightly bitter spiciness. Thin mouth feel. Much better autumn options exist.

This beer pours a slightly hazy orange color with a small white head that fades quickly to a minimal ring. The aroma is a strong blend of cinnamon, nutmeg, and clove, and the hint of pumpkin and caramel malts almost gets lost in the spices in the nose. Once sipped, this beer’s lackluster quality comes through in the barely-there flavor. What is tasted is slightly sour and a touch sweet, and the aftertaste is purely cinnamon. The palate fuses a nearly flat carbonation, slick texture, and a medium body, all of which don’t make this lacking beer gain any more points in my book. I hate pumpkin beer and this is why. Really strong nutmeg and cinnamon flavor. Smells like nutmeg. Not much pumpkin flavor. Had at Kay's dugout

Not a memorable beer. Not bad but kind of weak on the finish. Nice aroma but wish it had a bit more bite hopmelt (197) - Painesville TWP, Ohio, USA - SEP 17, 2014
Pours cloudy, medium orange, very slight head, dissipating thin lacing. Aroma clove, pumpkin, allspice, toasted malt, brown sugar, cinnamon. Taste pumpkin puree and slight bitter clove up front, then allspice, slight graham cracker and brown sugar sweetness mid mouth, finishes balanced. Mouthfeel medium body, low to medium carbonation, slight spicy bite, balanced finish, maybe slightly dry. Overall different, tasty, plays up the spice and clove, more allspice, not much cinnamon or nutmeg, slightly resembles a saison, I like this beer.
